The site and its measurements

What is there now, and the numbers everything else is drawn from.

Measured by John on site, 20 Sep 2026.

Clear wall run, battened corner to the left edge of the window frame: 2500.

Top of the cladding above the finished paving: 2600, level along the run.

Existing eave: underside 2230, top of gutter about 2375, sticking out 630 from the cladding.

Narrow window, top of the frame: 2210.

Still to measure. The eave's own heights and face profile, with a laser, on the eave itself. Those govern over the drawings. Levels are never taken from the paving, which falls for drainage.

Coming later, same design. Black aluminium sliding doors with glass above will close off the covered area and make it a room. Not drawn in these pictures.

To confirm or price

  • Measure 2230, 2375 and 145 on the existing eave and template its face profile.
  • What is behind the cladding: timber frame or the original brick, and how deep the cavity is.
  • Where the house footing sits along the run. Found when digging.
  • Services along the wall: stormwater, gas, electrical. Before You Dig first.
